ACCELERATED FREEFALL PROGRAM (AFF)

Accelerated Freefall (AFF) is a method of skydiving training called “accelerated” because the progression is the fastest way to experience solo free fall. We offer a 10% discount if you pay for the entire program upfront, cash or credit accepted. We offer cash discounts. Please call the office for credit pricing.


AFF – Accelerated Freefall Training

Descriptions for Each Training Category

Category A (Level 1) (Weekend $360, Weekday $325)

Your first AFF jump begins with a 4-6 hour First Jump Course ground school where you will learn the basics of skydiving. Once completed, you will make your first jump with two instructors accompanying you in the air during free fall and with ground radio assistance while under canopy. During this category, you will learn how to exit, maintain the basic free fall position, and deployment procedures.

Category B (Level 2) ($260)
You will have approximately an hour of class/prep time before you make your second AFF jump. Two instructors will accompany you during free fall and you will have ground radio assistance while under canopy. During this category, you will continue to work on your exit and awareness during free fall as well as practice deployments. You will be introduced to leg awareness and basic turns.
Category C (Level 3) ($205)
You will have approximately an hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. Two instructors will accompany you during free fall and you will have ground radio assistance while under canopy. During this category you will continue to strengthen your exit and awareness during free fall and practice deployments. Your instructors will release their grips from you for the first time on this skydive as you work on stable free fall without assistance.
Category D1 (Level 4) ($185)
You will have approximately an hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. One instructor will accompany you during free fall and you will have minimal ground radio assistance while under canopy. During this category you will perform your first exit with only one instructor. During free fall your instructor will be in front of you while you perform 90 and 180 degree turns without assistance.
Category D2 (Level 5) ($185)
You will have approximately a half hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. One instructor will accompany you during free fall and you will have minimal ground radio assistance while under canopy. You will make your first unassisted solo exit on this skydive. You will work on 180 and 360 degree turns with your instructor supervising during free fall.
Category E1 (Level 6) ($160)
You will have approximately an hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. One instructor will accompany you during free fall and you will have minimal ground radio assistance while under canopy. You will learn and perform an un-poised exit. You will be introduced to in air aerobatics and will perform barrel rolls and either a front loop or back loop.
Category E2 (Level 7) ($160)
You will have approximately a half hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. One instructor will accompany you during free fall and you will have very minimal ground radio assistance while under canopy. You will continue to strengthen your un-poised exit along with barrel rolls, front loops and back loops.
Category F (Level 8) ($160)
You will have approximately an hour of class/prep time before you make this AFF jump. One instructor will accompany you during free fall and you will have no ground radio assistance unless necessary under canopy. You will get to choose the type of exit for this skydive. You will be introduced to tracking while working on heading control and distance throughout your track.

*At this point you are cleared to self-supervision status while you work on completing your proficiency card for an A License.

*Category G and H are designed to prepare you for group free fall and teach you the skills necessary to participate in group jumps.
Category G (2 Coach Jumps) ($140)
You will have approximately an hour of prep time before you make this skydive. One instructor or coach will accompany you during free fall and you will not have ground radio assistance. You will practice the floater exit from the front and back positions. You will be introduced to docking with another skydiver as well as adjusting your fall rate slower and faster.
Category H (2 Coach Jumps) ($140)
You will have approximately an hour of prep time before you make this skydive. One instructor or coach will accompany you during free fall and you will not have ground radio assistance. You will be introduced to the diving exit. You will work on matching your fall rate to that of the coach or instructor and then taking a dock.
